Have noticed that I have some spots on the bonnet where the laquer is flaking, anyone have tips on what to do. Quoted £200 for that and some bubbles on offside passenger door?

I've got the same problem; the lacquer is flaking off the driver's door handle and it's gone cloudy where I had a roof rack fitted a few months ago

I had this exact problem on my first 6. Turned out to be a bad respray job.

Was the Handle sprayed in the past? Check underneath the handle to see if its a different colour. Could have been a new handle
