water in drivers footwell

my 406 has a lot of water in the drivers footwell

anyone has this problem ans solution ?

Could be
sunroof drains, though other causes are possible.

Plugs missing from floor, leaky aerial (does it rain inside?), loose door seals, leaking windscreen seals, if you park facing downhill it could also be the tail lights leaking (ducks swimming around in your boot?), check the drains under the windscreen, at the back of the bonnet - they can block up with leaves etc. and the water drains into the heater.

car has no sunroof so looks like i need to get the hose pipe out as its pretty bad in the drivers well
also the brake lights dont work but thats probly just the switch

the switch is only a few quid from most autofactors, (easy to fit if you have small hands!) if it isn't the switch have a look
here as the brake light loom runs under the carpet.

thanx for that
ive checked the rear drivers light cluster and some plonker aint even put the 2 nuts on that hold the light in place
so im guessing that the water is coming in from there

I still can't see how water can reach the footwell from the boot but plenty on here say it is possible

it was on my drive which has a small incline
