Just a considerate piece of parking to me, clearly the occupants of the grey Seat needed a bit of room to exit the car as the Volvo approached

Yup, I try my best to park at least that far away away from neighbouring vehicles  . I wouldn't choose that space though, nightmares about out of control shopping trollies on the zebra

hahaha Welly, you are really in my country i see.and i was wondering why do you have jastrebarsko written there.

Well, its really a pain in the ass to park in city, people dont care about other cars, just slam, open the doors-specially womans
My car is full of dents, scratches and etc.
Just few months ago,i was sitting in my car, some smartass comes, opens the door by hitting in my car,he didnt react at all, like that was something usuall.

Over here sinko *waves* :cheesy:

Tell me about it, they couldn't be more careless if they tried... Every time I wash the Pug I see a new car park ding in it  That's really the best thing about the Toyota, it's so dinged and scratched already I don't really see anything new (and wouldn't really care if I did  ). Sometimes I think there is no point in having anything better.

Sometimes I feel embarrassed criticizing Croatian drivers on this board because I know there are Croats on here but really the driving is abysmal. I actually found a spread sheet a while back for driving fatality statistics across Europe and Croatia was right up there next to Russia - "I must overtake AT ALL COSTS!" You'd think that, what with the value of cars here, people would treat them like the crown jewels but not a bit of it, most seem to drive them like neglected battering rams. And they still expect them to be worth a fortune when they sell them. We will see what happens to the values next year when Croatia joins the Europijan Onion (All aboard the Titanic!)

I would have said that is typical parking for a vulva driver , due no
doubt to failing eye sight stiff limbs through arthritis not allowing
full control of steering wheel or pedals the need to open the doors fully
so the occupants can be helped out , all of this can be seen on a regular
basis in towns like Eastbourne where i believe Welly has been spotted looking
at properties :)
.. ooh are those drugs for me Matron

Yeah, Russians are horrible drivers! I have never, nor will I ever want to, drive in Russia. They are lunatics. You just have to look at my uncle's driving - every word is followed by a swear. Amazingly, he hasn't had an accident since the late 80's but the roads are getting full with "new Russians" in their S-Classes and teenage girls in their Daewoo Matiz's.... and they have no clue.

Considering driving skills,i dont know how we stand in overall but those park bumps etc are really making me angry.
those thing launches me off, like you said before,it really doesnt worth having a new car,few months and whole side will be
scratches,damaged,even scratched on purpose.

I always thought croats are good drivers, cuz i see a lot more bad driving when i go outside border but i could be wrong
But our roads are pretty crappy so that must go into consideration haha

this are some of my worst enemies on the road :cheesy: :
old ladies in some asian can.
young ladies in some new french car, fresh out of carschool.
audi-bmw-mercedes hotshots.
honda racers (white cap gives extra 10 HP) :D
old folks (retired legionares) in some oldschool vehicle.
Peugeot 406 drivers (i tend to look too long to admire haha)

Old farts driving old Mercs like they're tanks, stopping for nothing, last winter I saw one of these cut up a snow plough
Idiots driving so close behind me I can see what colour their eyes are.
"Must overtake, overtake, overtake, or my penis will fall off."
"Here is my friend Ivan, I must stop in the middle of this busy junction and reminisce about when we were drunk in the kafić this morning."
"One way streets do not apply to me"
"Why should I put my lights on? I can see all the other cars"
"My car is German so I do not have to give way, indicate, obey any speed limit, stop for pedestrian crossing, stick to my side of the road, park sensibly..."
"I can't be bothered to stop and see if anything is coming, I will just pull out."

When I was first here I used to stop at pedestrian crossings and wonder why the people waiting would just stand and stare at me - "what the f... is wrong with you??!" Turns out people being run over by cars overtaking the stopped car is a common occurrence, my wife was nearly killed this way.

Tractors. TRACTORS. Driving at 9kph, spraying mud everywhere, in the middle of the road, with their l/h indicator going. Or at night with no lights on.

Last month Jaska had their "Days of Wine" festival thing, I was coming back from Zagreb about 10:30 at night and as we came into town my wife reminded me that there would probably be police about. As we came past it there were cars driving about everywhere, teenagers running into the road, some with banners (I nearly ran one over), further down the road the car in front stopped without bothering to pull over, the guy got out and started to piss standing next to his car. There were NO police anywhere.

Actually, the amount of times I've come back late along the old high road from Zagreb and I've had some tit behind me, coming really close and backing off again, flashing their lights or leaving it on full beam, swerving about. Ffs I'm not exactly sticking to the speed limits, are you hoping to achieve take off speed? I had one lorry overtake me blasting on his air horns (erm, speed limit is 40, I'm doing 70...) I also had one guy overtake and slam on his brakes and stop so hard he set his hazards off. In my headlights I could see him reach for something in his glove box, then he started getting out of his car and I thought if he's holding a gun he's going under my car. He then got back in and drove off - what the fuuuuuuuuuuck??

And... relax.
