What is this? Is it "your car is now an out of date model, just like mine, so we're both in the same boat now matey"? :?

You'd think wouldn't you?

The V70 seems to be the least updated one of the lot, looks like it's just a new bumper to me, which I'm not actually that keen on (I would say that wouldn't I?) :supafrisk:

Cars seem to be getting updated more frequently now, like every 2 years? years ago they'd let a model run for 5/6 years and then give it some subtle changes but it's hard to keep up now.

I can actually facelift mine quite easily and a lad on the old giffers forum has (with astonishing success) the front and rear lights and bumpers are different but still all bolt (more or less) the the same 'guts' behind the scenes.

The one I'm thinking of bought all the stuff from breakers on ebay and then sold all his old stuff and did the whole facelift for about £37.50 Net  that would never happen to me :frown:

Every now and then I have a look for a 'sport' kit (side skirts and 'lips') but they're like rocking horse shizzle and all the ones at breakers are, well, broken :|

But older cars are taking longer to age too!

56 plate cars are 7 years old now. They don't look it!
