It's inevitable, resistance is futile!

82yr old smashes Volvo into building at 70mph

Post by Welly »

Rammed the Sailing Club (doesn't look like 'at 70mph' to be honest) then poured Petrol all over it and set off flares.......

See, Volvo drivers aren't all the same.....

70mph? That has to be a joke. There is an obvious arch above where he hit, suggesting maybe a couple of wooden doors?! I doubt more than 25 or so. Problem is, as I have proved to various people over the years, a car doing 5/6000rpm in 1st 'sounds' faster than a car at 2000rpm in top. (I got fed up with neighbours accusing me of speeding on my various motorcycles over the years, just because I was using maybe a little more rpm that necessary in lower gears.)

I must admit, my local Post Office has been pissing me off recently....

On the speed thing, hitting that there doorway at 70 would've seen the car going straight through the building and out the other side I think

So you can hit a building at 70mph in a V70 and walk away unscathed? Anyone want a game of chicken?
