MOT pass

Post by Welly »

Just had the Volvo MOT'd a month early and passed with no advisories! (expires 19 Jan 2019) :o

This car has passed every MOT for the last 8 years with no issues :cheesy:

Mind you I do spend time and money keeping the maintenance up to date

Well done Welly - luckily parts for Fords are quite cheap what with your fuel bills etc....
My 406 passed the last few Mots with no advisories - but only because I made sure the indicators were 'Orange enough'.
It must be a nice and slightly smug feeling knowing your next MOT is due in 2019.
2003 2.2hdi estate - mine
1998 Volvo 940 auto estate - also mine

Hey it's actually becoming "economical" now it has nearly 100,000 miles on it.

Current daily average = 27.1 mpg 8)

MOT history records a reliable 6000 miles per year so man-maths suggest I'd only be £8.00 per week better* off* driving a dizzler doing 45 mpg but factor in potential troubles of running a dizzle on light work then the pez Volvo seems very simple in comparison
