air con

Hi All problem with air con had it re gassed last evening by a pro but wont cut in when switched on havent investigated to much yet as its cold and wet here in Norfolk at the moment any thoughts as were to start looking cheers all :?:

You say you had it regassed, did he test it before you left?!
I'd take the car straight back to be honest.

thanks for your replies yes he checked it and we think it may be a relay or clutch or poss pressure switch but was hoping that someone may have known of any quirks its a 02 2.0hdi 110 bhp .Re gas done by a guy i have used before and had been recommended to me comes to house with all the goodies will investigate over the weekend

Hi all had air con tested yesterday a fault with BSI [HAVNT A CLUE ] only know it will cost about £ 350 to fix at the dealers ?
Has anyone any ideas HELP??? here's hoping for some easy fix i live in hope .Its a 02 2.0 Lt hdi 110 est

There's a re-set procedure somewhere on here for the BSi unit (try a search) this may help.

Haven't heard of the BSi interfering with the air con before though :?

Did you check out the pressure switch? fitted to the top of the condenser at the front - this can play up and prevent the compressor from running.

Hi all is there anyone around Norwich with a plug in computer to check my systems as to if this is a BSI fault .Hope to here soon cheers
