retro fitting front fog /lights to a d8

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Some more info on the rellay? Where is it exactly, what color, Amperage? I have the lights sitting in the garrage but not the rellay. The guy i boucht them from sent me a button for under the steering wheel, but no cables there on mine. Probably the cabling goes to the stalk in my case too.

Above your pedals should be a piece of black fabric, attached at the top by three plastic pegs. Gently prise these out with a butter knife.

About 8" directly above your accelerator pedal there will be a single small black relay.

Get the down a scrappers and find a model with front fogs. Repeat the process and you'll see it has two such black relays (assuming no-one else has already pinched 'em). Grab the one you don't have and jam it in your motor.

Remember you can also grab most electrical parts from Xantias.

Would this also apply to an early (pre-COM2000) D9?

I want fogs but don't want to pay craploads for an auto electrician to add them :)
