cant get my key to sync , its been away and had the buttons replaced and the fella assures me that it should only need a re- sync not programing .
i have tried all the ways stated in autodata and still no joy .
odd thing is one wauy says hold the lock button untill the light goes out , no matter how long i press it it won't go out .
any ideas chaps ?

Is it a D8 or D9 car (ie phase 1 or 2) because with the phase 2 cars it involves holing in a button on the key when its in the ignition hole

perhaps its the buttons get a new set of buttons for the key and try again
