While fumbling around in PP2000, trying to sort out my r/control, I came across an option for the rear wiper to turn on automatically when you select reverse with front wipers on, which wasn't enabled. Turned it on & it works
Do others have this as std? - I'm 99% sure mine didn't have it before.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
I think there's a 'speed chime' which goes off over 70mph (that won't be annoying at all)
I can imagine the 406's coming off the line and some guy hopping in the thing and saying; "right, what's this one got?" and then getting busy with the tick list it's quite clever the way cars are made with all the different options you can have now.
Cars in my care:
2021 Kia Spottage 1.6 Pez Turbo Dual Clutch Gearbox Trickery
2013 Renner Twingo - donkey work

Heh not seen that option!
There's an option to reverse the D9s display, putting it black text on a red background, but it's hard to read and blinding at night. I've seen the overspeed alert option too, it's one of the ones written in French in the BSI configuration options Not much other cool stuff tbh (although I love making the instrument cluster needles dance )

I'm very tempted to invest in that Lexia kit! I wonder what it can access on a D8?

On my bro's 1.9TD, you can see the TPS position, (yes, honestly), EGR duty cycle, (which incidentally is permanently zero unless you don't touch the throttle), but not an awful lot else.
On my BSI there is an option for the overspeed chime thingy, one for locking the doors once you're moving another for linking the rear wiper delay to front wiper speed. Can be a biot misleading as some options are on the list, but can't actually be configured, (like CJ's rear wiper for example).
What would be really cool would be being able to programme the BSI, not just configure it with the bits the original French software engineers provided. Making your own MFD messages could be amusing too:

With the tubby, you can speak to the engine ECU, ABS ECU and immobiliser/central locking ECU (although I couldn't access the latter on dad's with my chinese unit, but that may be down to something being broken on the car - dunno...). If memory serves, there's nothing configurable on the tubby; you can just read values and perform self-tests.
You can make the turbo valve self-test though

No
First it got too cold to work in the garage, then I knackered my ankle, then I needed the garage freed up to work on the coupe for a trip to France... It's now better than it was, but still no turbo despite replacing/verifying almost everything, so it's got to be either the turbo seized, or a leaky intercooler. I got a replacement IC, but ran out of time to fit it (could have done the job in time, but if the rad hose broke I'd have been in serious trouble)
