Windows that go up themselves

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Somebody posted about this recently, I think

damn my cr@p memory, if it comes to me i will post up, but i think it was in a thread about keys and remote fobs an stuff, but cant be sure.

Im sure they said that one of the range had it and it may be hidden away in the BSI as an option on others with the same type of keyfob remote.

If fitted, total closure's activated when deadlocking is
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

this feature is definately available and active on a Peugeot 307.my friend has a 1.6 HDI model and yes all windows close automatically by simply pressing the key fob once to lock, press and hold down a second time and all windows should close.
mine is an executive 2001 model estate and i tried it to no avail which means its not an option menu on the BSI system.

Looked for this on our 2000 executive - nothing doing. Our old Rover 825 had an unusual version of this feature - when we drove over a speed bump the windows would open all by themselves. Not so good in the rain mind you ... ! Regards, Springnuts.
