Hi Danny & Welcome 8)

Can't honestly tell from the description, but it can't do any harm to do the basic service items if the car's new to you and you have any doubts over service history. I'd start by doing an oil change, oil air & fuel filters - all need to be done at 12 or 24,000 intervals anyway and it may sort it out for you. Do mine myself, I'd expect to pay about £25 for the bits.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
