MFD install

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

MFD install

i have a 1999 peugeot 406 sx but it has no MFD is it easy to install one?

can anyone tell me how to install on?

I'm presuming it's a D8?

Pop your tray out and see if there's a wiring connector first.

if your rear windscreen demister button is on the same row as the hazard warning switch

yeah it is in the same row

so should the wiring be there for a MFD?

I hink they all have the single plug there for the mfd but if you want trip functions you will need to add another.
There will be a cubby hole above the climate controls; pull this out and you should see the connector.

I could be pedantic and say that altering the cars temperature changes the climate within :P
