Dash Bulb Replacement

I know I'll probably get some ridicule for this but how do I change the bulbs behing the temp guage on my D8 ? temp guage bulb and speedo needle gave up on me last night.
I can see the screws above the dials but that would appear to be for the entire surround ? Does it all need to come off just to access the dials ?

3 Torx across the top, and should be one on the side of the dash in access panel - but appears some peeps can't be bothered to put that one back in so may be missing
Sig says 1997 so temp gauge in MFD which will prise out - depending on spec of car, it'll have either a single or a pair

just doing mine take the central air vents out as well
and yes you take the whole surround out.

Thanks for the info, it's the engine temp not the exterior temp that died but I get the idea

and the bulbs are at the stealers £2 each the clock ones are smaller size , theres quite a lot of bulbs behind there , I was wondering if leds could be found to replace them ???
