I have noticed on my car that the rear elec windows only work from the drivers control. They do not work from each door switch. The fuse is fine so i started looking around assuming that the drivers switch must be faulty and came across this on ebay

What do people think?

Re: Electric Window Fix
why do you assume the drivers control must be faulty if its the only place where the window can be controled from, and that ebay things good but you could get it from a breakers easier, just ask one of the people with a listing under 'peugeot 406 breaking' for a window switch and it will be a better job, and not as expenive as this seller states, even cheaper at breakers yards. But if its not working for the back window then get a new switch for the door, it just pops out of the handle.

Re: Electric Window Fix
my thought was as both rear windows do not work from their own switches but work from the drivers panel, then the problem may be related to the child lock switch

Re: Electric Window Fix
ah right that ebay listing just fixes the drivers window button so you need the new module, breakers is still the place to go

Re: Electric Window Fix
thanks
Any way of testing if the child lock switch is the problem?
I think i will take it apart and have a look at it

Re: Electric Window Fix
you said it, take it out and use a multimeter to test it, ensure all the modules wee clips are there and its tight together because sometimes it can be loose and have bad connections.
