Illumination of The Footwell
I rember i went on about this a while ago under the title of footwell lights, but i think the overall soltion become overly complex and technical. I have the 2 footwell lights sitting neatly installed with wires going to them, and terminal blocks on the end of them neatly ready to recieve power so they can get on with their job. So given these sitting there what is the best thing to do, the last time i was on about this i kept talking of how i was going to run it off the puddle lights and some complex hardware, but now im open to suggestions on different places to get the power. I dont want to go down the route of using LEDs they just dont have the same light off them as old fashoned bulbs.

I also had another idea, if this actually worked properly off the dome light, it would perhaps be possible for power to go to a 555 monostable timer (or something similar) to turn on the headlights when the car is unlocked. In theory it should be possible if the bsi was a tougher bit of kit, so what could be done to allow for such madness.
