windscreen washer pump

windscreen washer pump

went to use the washers tonight and nothing.
got home and but some more water in the bottle and still nothing,then reliased that i couldnt hear the pump working.
its to dark now to mess about now, but where is the washer pump? is it in the washer bottle or is it bolted to the car somewhere cant rember seeing it come to think about it.

It's behind the reservoir, there's either an access panel or you'll need to take off the r/h front wheel arch liner to get to it.

YOu should be able to just take off the front half. Hopefully you have the panel in it though.

Check the fuse for the pump first - that's what went on mine. Can't remember the number but it's in the fuse box above the battery.

But the pump isn't hard to get to if it is the problem... You need to take the wheel arch liner off.

thought i should check the fuse :roll: before i took half the car apart and sure enough it had blown :D
