Re: wiper blades,
ah there cant be too many discussions about wiper blades, from the experience of the onces i had i think all aero ones are crap, but its more likely that i bought sh*t ones. Anyhow stick with a reputable brand like bosch or valeo and they should do the job well if they are flat or aero ones.

Re: wiper blades,
I bought myself a set of Valeo flat blades from Halfords just before Xmas for around £24.00 ,to replace the Bosch Super's which I usually fit ,and were extremely easy to fit. They seem to glide over the screen better that the bosch with out any noise or dragging or leaving any streaks or smears,as the bosch sometimes did. Eventually smearing did appear and I tried all the normal windscreen cleaners which still left the wipers smearing. So I tried the glass polish made by "Turtle Wax" ,and wow ,what a difference. It not only removed all the grease but also polished out some of the millions of minute stone pitting built up over the last 162,000 miles.
MK1 1996 2Ltr 16v Petrol LX, 167,000 miles,was aiming for 200,000.
