nearside wierd noise

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

nearside wierd noise

Post by jamie69 »

hi,
everytime i start my car i get a weird noise which sounds like its coming from the aircon vent. it goes away. just puzzling me as to what it could be.
any help would be appreciated
it sounds sort of like an old bearing winding down
whilst stationary
thanks

Well, guess this is in all the 406's because mine have the same thing .. but i never bother to go to the garage because the noise is not that loud at all and it will end in about 5 seconds or so, the sound it looks like a " fart "  but a strange fart, i guess you got the idea of what the sound looks like .. but now the weather is more wormer and it doesn't do that now ..
