has my 406 got an alarm ?

well there ya go, if it has buggered if i can see it or hear it.
it is a 1999 glx v reg 406 infra red remote key fob, there is a red diode smack in the middle of the dash next to the windscreen so i suppose this is for the central locking.
when it is locked i do not see any indication of an alarm ?

do i have an alarm ?

Have a look on the A pillars on the inside. There will be ultra sonic sensors there if you have an alarm.

The thing near the windscreen is a sunshine sensor which works with the temp sensor in the roof lining - its for the aircon.
