My Dials don't seem to be as bright as I thought compared to our Old D8 2.1TD?
I have it on the highest setting and although Ok, they could be stronger.
Is changing the bulbs awkward, and what bulbs 286T's as elsewhere in the car?

Re: Dial Backlighting
i think my instrument panel is the twisty bulbs, does this mean i can change the color of them ? i would like to put it all pure white and the dials Red... i will confirm this in about an hour, i have to go to the garage to check something on the PP2000, and i will ask him if the dash was twisty bulbs, because last month he had to replace a faulty bulb from the AIRBAG icon on the instrument panel.. and by the way i will try to add a bulb on the " missing the seat belt " icon , when i change the bulbs to the ones i referred above, so i can check if the icon works :p, maybe this was working but got screwed up like the airbag one ..lozz wrote:on some d9s the instrument bulbs are Smds there not the twisty out ones,![]()
