Any detrimental effect to driving without clocks?

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Any detrimental effect to driving without clocks?

Post by plod »

Might seem a sillt question, but will my car throw a wobbly, if I try and drive it with no clocks installed?

I can see no problem with older cars, but with electrics in newer cars, I just want to play safe

Basically, I want to take the clocks out of my car, and take them up to my mate to do a bit of soldering on them

Thinking about it logically, I guess I could undo them all, and then when I get to his, just unplug, he solder me on the extra connections for the trip functionality, then reconnect - so guess I might have just answered my own question
