OBD socket

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

check on the motor compartment for Fuse 32 and Fuse 14 it includes the EOBD socket ...

there is also one inside of the car but i can't confirm you what fuse is .. but from what i could see, doesn't really need to be there, it depends ...

Unfortunately, the fuse location seems to vary, depending on the age of your car. On my 52-plate, its F4 in the engine fusebox, but Haynes, (which I think is based on earlier D9 's), shows F14, (which mjb's V-reg coupe was too).

Worth checking those 2 - it's always a 10A mini-fuse AFAIK

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

I would caution against repeatedly saying "Doggy" in front of the mirror, as your intent may well be misinterpreted with potentially awkward results.
