Hello all.
I've a 2001 2.0HDi (90 horse) estate that has thrown up an immobiliser fault
The car has been lying up for a while having been replaced so I went out to start it yesterday and it was dead. Tried to jump start it but no-joy. Took the battery out and charged it overnight. Replaced the battery this morning but forgetting to go through the gentle wakeup procedure.
Anyways I've ended up with an immobiliser fault.
I've tried a BSI reset (a couple of times) but still no joy
I've had a look through some of the posts on here and there's mention of immobiliser codes and keypads.
I don't have the code but will ring a dealer tomorrow to see if I can get it. But if I do where is this keypad?
Also is there any other things I can try to rectify my problem
Thanks
Garry

Re: Immobiliser
Never heard of a keypad to reset it,i had to get a chap out with a laptop with planet peugeot on to reset my immobiliser, the dealers will probably want £20 odd to give you the key code,i went onto the "peugeotforums" site and there is a chap that can give you the codes for £5,just do a search for "vin to pin" and you should be able to find it,hope this helps.

Re: Immobiliser
The keypad was fitted only to early D8 cars, so not relevant here.
Suspect it'll have to be PP2000 / dealer - whereabouts are you?
(you can get free vin to pin on http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/)

I'm based in Mayo in the west of Ireland.
Gonna get the codes of yer man on peugeot forums and see if I can get someone local to sort me out as regards diagnostics.
