Is there 2 different ones in a D9 as mine went and I got another one and the connectors didnt fit in.

is this the slider for turning up heaters ?
my d8s slider is a bit tempremental. sometimes on half way it wont work. tap it a little and it comes into life ..
what fault is this ?

No problem 
I think this is the name for it. Its the small black box with silver spikes?? Its located behind the dash at the bottom close to the passenger footwell. Mine had green sockets and connectors, this on has a black socket.

i have a d9 that im stripping and if mines the same as that you can have it for a 1/4 of the price.
