I've seen peoples replies to these two questions but a quick search i couldn't find the threads in question.
First one is the brake fluid warning light, i understand it's a sensor problem under the center console is it just called hand brake sensor?
Second is every now and then my speedo stops working for a few minutes any idea what this could be?
Am i to assume its a call to the main stealers?

Re: Two parts needed
IIRC there was some tale of yanking one's handbrake up & down repeatedly and causing alarm among onlookers to address this 'issue'.
The speedo one, (again if memeory serves), is related to some box of tricks that lurks behind the glovebox.
(Someone sensible will hopefully add to this in due course).

That didn't work on mine. If you ask the dealer for a handbrake switch, he should know what you mean. Shouldn't be much more than £10. It's a pain in the rear to get to, but it is definitely DIYable.Doggy wrote:IIRC there was some tale of yanking one's handbrake up & down repeatedly and causing alarm among onlookers to address this 'issue'.

Try this thread for the handbrake solution,viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4852 , page 4 shows how to change the switch
