clarion 6 disc changer

dose anybody know if it matterson the changer if the key things on side are important,i meen the things to set hor or vertical,reason i ask is because mine was full of water and would not work,so got one of e-bay which works ok,so i want to mount it somewhere else in the boot,maybe on the back of the back seat.

You just set them to how there going to be Mounted.
if not set, Cds jump/skip or jam,

yeah ithink there important mate,
what have you got car or Estate,?

iknow the saloon shouid have a bracket for changer already

its a saloon lozz m8,i have the braket it sits in,just dont want it back in same place to stop this one getting wet to.so i thort the back of the rear seats would be a good place and out the way.

the saloon ihad pissed water in mate,

your best bet is to work out why it got soaked in first place,

drop the back seats, whilst you nosey in there with torch have someone blast a hosepipe on car,

the changer is best in the corner mate imho,

i have got some nice big rubber mount to sit it on,can always put it back if it dont work out,and look for leak after wards m8,but thanks for the idear m8.
