What type of bulbs are the number plate ones, and how the f*k do you change them?

(MOT booked for Monday. Failed on a number plate bulb last year, so thought I'd check before I go this year.)

Ye they are 501s and to get them
Off small flat head screw driver in the little slot and should pop out never had one brake yet but there not very strong
