Little Query !!

When sitting in my car with engine off and i want to operate the windows
i have to start the engine just turning the key to ignition on doesn't work ,does
everyone have to do this ??

Sounds weird, usually you just turn it to the acc position to operate the windows :?
Didn't you change the ignition barrel some time back? Maybe worth checking the connections.

Grettings puggles

Mine work on the acc positition, (& for about a minute after you turn it off).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Thought i remembered they used to work like that shall have to investigate .
A special hi to teamy , yes long time no see hope all goes well , and thanks for
the input lads , not been around cos been in hospital , recovering now so

Thanks lads :) i had a abdominal aeortic anurysum and 2 more in me groins
and they had to be done before bursting :roll: the 2 in my groins led to the
nurses having to move me willy while each time they changed me dressing mmmmmm
ecstacy :twisted:

Seem to recall this window problem started at the same time as the wipers
decided to get a mind of their own :?:

Oh, and either slow down for the speed bumps for a bit, else get a couple of cushions to sit on. :shock:
