I bought a "V" reg 1999 model 406 Exec HDI and it drives really well and I really love the car.
However it has the following faults:
1. When I open the central locking via the Remote Key Fob, the STOP sign flashes on the dashboard along with the EMS light and ABS light. There is also a beep.
These go out apart from engine managment light when I start the car and it drives perfect.
When I switch the ignition off, the same lights previous ly mentioned do the exact same but go out after a couple of minutes.
2. The Speedo and Rev Counter do not work but someone mentioned to me that this might be a bad connection on to the gearbox.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Oh BTW the fusebox layout in the handbook is completely different from the actual one under the steering column and there are a couple of fuses missing, whether they should be or not??
Cacn anyone email me a copy of the right fusebox layout including what fuses are what?
