hi all, after my heater blower packed up on my 04 406 diesel estate i fitted an new blower control module which solved the problem. the downside is that temp and fuel gauges have become erratic coming on and off when they please also the stop warning light comes on and goes off from time to time. i am wondering if the car doesn't like the new module which i have fitted as it was one i bought on ebay at half the price i would have paid at the main dealer. any thoughts chaps. i am considering buying a replacement from main dealer. happy new year to you all

Does the car still bugger about if you remove the module?

It probably is that (too much current?) but I reckon it's worth making sure before you start forking out more cash
