"bonnet open"

My car has decided to tell me the bonnet is open on the mfd and bleeps when i remote cental lock,it is clearly shut,does anyone know where the switch/sensor is for the bonnet,i thought there would be a plunger type switch located an the slam panel somewhere but there isn't

Your right,i popped the grille off and the microswitch was sticking,soaked it in WD40 and it freed up,job done------nope 10mins later the alarm went off.I can only think the switch is knackered so i've just locked it with the key not the plip untill i can get round to sorting it.
