BSI vs Engine ECU - Can't access Engine ECU on PP2000

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

as I said above I have a clone from god knows where and it never would speak to the engine ecu (siemens) so i decided to take a punt on an earlier version and it has worked a treat. I am not sure if its a full complete version or even a hacked up version but it sure does let me read and config the siemens engine ecu + the rest.

If i had somewhere to upload this version to i would. its 943 meg unpacked and 500 + meg packed up so is a bit large to find a home online for it.
406 D9 2002 in Met blue . Full leather interior. Fully working puddle lights (LED's). Both interior lights work from the front switched light (LED's). Door handle Lights (internal LED's). Yup i love LED's but not as much as the BSI does .

09.B (22.14) didn't work. 10.A (23.25) did.

What versions do you have?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

It's the version that comes on the CD that comes with the cables!

Since the newer versions just add support for newer cars -- and there's no danger of me getting a newer car any time soon -- there isn't any need to upgrade!

What exactly are you after?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Ah ok, fair enough.

Well the disk that came with mine had Diagbox 6.01 and an update for PP2000 v24.something. Am I right in thinking that Diagbox is the newer software that superseded the older (v22, v23 etc.) standalone PP2000?

I'm having trouble reading the engine ecu in a Siemens HDI 406 estate and am using the Diagbox 6.01 that came on the disk, as I always have on all other cars I've used the interface cable on.

So I guess I'm looking for PP2000 v22.14 and failing that, v23.25 that you mentioned worked for you :)

Would anyone be able to help me with the aforementioned software? Thanks :)

------- edit -------

I've managed to find PP2000 V22.14 and the v23.25 update now, so if anyone would like it let me know :)
