Is it possible to hook up the remote central locking so it folds/unfolds the mirrors when locked/unlocked?
Cheers

Re: Remote folding wing mirrors
AFAIK, no-one's managed to do it yet. I was thinking of devising some circuitry to do it, but it hasn't got past the drawing board, (yet).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: Remote folding wing mirrors
Interesting, I thought it would just be case of taking a feed off the central locking trigger and diverting it across to the mirror folding switch.
If that's a bit of a pain an easier option would be to take a feed off the + ignition and linking that upto the mirror switch which (in theory) should be super simple and achieve a similar effect only linked to starting and stopping the engine instead of the locks.

Re: Remote folding wing mirrors
There was a thread about this a while ago, maybe do some digging on the forum - maybe going back 18 months or so...?
In theory it should be simple, but this is a French car after all...

Re: Remote folding wing mirrors
From what i remember someone on the French Coupe forum did managed to do it, i think they had schematics that could even close the sunroof!
I'm having a search to see if i can find it.
Edit:
Here is the post on the French forum

Hope your french is better than mine....

Re: Remote folding wing mirrors
Wow, thanks for that - What a lot of work for such a (theoretically) simple mod.
Found this whilst I was looking around:

http://fordwiki.co.uk/index.php/Powerfo ... _Retro-fit

Seems to be a popular mod across many vehicles and all appear to use the same bits and bobs.
