Never managed to solve it Sonia. Checked fuses & all sorts, but never got them going. My next step was going to be to replace the leather door-cards with Rapier ones as it bugged me having the lights on there that didn't work.
If you decide to go down the same route, it may be worth putting out a request on a few parts search websites as although they fitted beige cloth door-cards on more different models, I doubt if there will be that many kicking around.

SEDRE calls them "tread lamps", nut I'm not seeing anything useful here as both (semi- & full-mux) are fed straight out of the BSI with no explanation
They're nothing to do with the relays and fuses in the BSI anyway. Or so SEDRE says...

Re: Door Card Puddle Lights
You could always wire them up to turn on when the overhead courtesy light comes on, although that does mean running wires to each door which is a bit of a nuisance
BTW steve sorry to ask this (i think ive asked in the past) but where do you get sedre from, are the wiring diagrams any more accurate than the ones on petrilia?

I think your best best these days is bit torrent. They are the diagrams on Petrila, although that's just full-mux diagrams and lots less detail and, depending on the date, Sedre covers more cars (4007 wiring diagrams anyone?) None of the others seem to be as interactive as the 406 D9 full-mux ones though.

Re: Door Card Puddle Lights
If I can get hold of a wiring diagram or two (will log into service box when I have a minute) it may be the circuit isn't joined or something, but how silly would that be to have all the wiring there but a break in the circuit...waue1978 wrote:Never managed to solve it Sonia. I have to ring Peugeot tomorrow (or Tuesday if they're shut the Bank Hols) so I guess I could ASK their advice...

ServiceBox isn't giving anything away
The only thing that stuck out is that the puddle lights share a diagram with the glove box light.
Random guess: is the other end of the loom not plugged in? How long is the door loom and where does it go anyway?

That's interesting rwb, I am hoping Peugeot can answer some of these questions..... If they don't I shall be telling 'em where to stick their service boxrwb wrote:ServiceBox isn't giving anything away![]()

Wonder if Mr Haynes will be of any use? Where did I throw him last time?
