Check fuses under steering wheel - all ok.

The headlamp fuses are in the engine compartment fusebox Supa.....

Are you actually telling us that you stopped working last night because one of your headlamps went out. PLEASE come an educate the taxi drivers 'round here! Most of them have one headlight, and those that have two tend to be so badly adjusted that you are frequently blinded! Clowns

Anyway, hope you get it sorted Supa, and don't be such a stranger!

As for taxi lights, I've noticed quite a few now where both brake lights are out and their just relying on the high level light. I told one in Tesco car park a while back, then saw him about 3 weeks later, still the same.

My theory is it could be their hoping for a rear shunt, then they can say their brake lights are working "see, the one in the window is". Then they get their shed of a car written off for more than it's worth (£0).

Present company excepted Supa, but never come to Merthyr to work, you'd be ridiculed by taking your car off the road for a missing headlight. In fact you'd be ridiculed for taking it off the road for a missing wheel...

What happened to being single, white and female

My Mrs' car failed to start (with it's dodgy BSI) in a out-of-town-dodgy-cheap-poundstretcher-type retail park just before Christmas. She was on her own and 8 and a bit months pregnant at the time. How long did the RAC quote for attendance? 2.5 hours! In a freezing cold car? I was not happy! When she explained her situation the cheeky bint on the 'phone told her these was nothing she could do and to "find somewhere to get a coffee"..... Errrm, that's half a mile walk to the burger van then - useless gits.

I only use the bloody RAC 'cos 'er in doors insists on having something and they're cheaper than the AA. If I had my way I wouldn't bother!

ah yes the brilliant RAC
i had one guy from them call me to ask for advice on a volvo 440 non-start, almost always on these its the alarm remote batteries as you have to unlock the car with the remote to deactivate the immobiliser, so i ask him, have you changed the batteries in the remote, yes of course he says, but it still doesnt turn over, so we have this long conversation and he eventually tells me he's going to bypass the immobiliser to start it, then we argue as i say this is immpossible at the side of the road, so i hang up, 10 mins later the car is towed in, i walk outside with a screwdriver and 2 new remote batteries, fit them, the car unlocks and....


it starts , so i say i thought you changed the batteries?
i got no answer as the rac guy filled his little form out and quickly drove off

The AA have always been fairly (to very) helpful for me!

I'm with the RAC as a Blue Badge Holder, they must get to me within the hour.

They have been fine with me, and always fixed the problem.


I Dunno what it is with dodgy electrics on Peugeot's but I'm selling mine b4 they start on mine.
