I thought I'd cured mine. Within half a mile of the test station it appeared. Turned the engine off. Back on again, still there! Turned it off, back on - stayed off. Drove to the test station scared out of my brains
Emissions being done on the test, test inspector noticed I looked a bit shifty (of course I was worrying about the ABS) but he totally bought the 'this is my first petrol car, worried about emissions as my sisters 106 failed many years back' - which to be honest, was true also but the main reason I was scared was the ABS = instant fail.
