I hadnt steve, cheers, i put a direct live to the motor tonight, as let down by my friend, (cause overtime pays and i don't, as said, im cheap) all i got was a clicking sound. I left the original negative in place, im thinking about putting both, nev and pos and seeing if that makes it work. If not, i am going to assume the motor is broken. (cry for a little while then go to the scrappy)
Re: Heating elecs
Well the blower was pulled out today, there was a loose pin on the circuit board, that got soldered, but the main fault is the ignition barrel needs replacing. At nearly 200£ its not getting replaced, the car is. I will see if I can get a cheap 1 from a breakers but must be a common fault as the 6 main breakers I have rang are sold out! Have fun peeps, thanks for the help.
Re: Heating elecs
This is indeed reasonably common - hope you can source a replacement

Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a donor car for a couple of hundred quid and rob all the good bits, sell what you don't need and then weigh it in after. You may even make a couple of pounds too..
