New in this great forum and trouble with my 406...

Hi people. I'm Leandro from Argentina and I'm glad to write here... I allways read your posts, very interesting by the way, but now I've got an issue with my 2001 Peugeot 406... My car is 3.0 V6, SV model...

I've got the ASR/ESP warning light in my dash, and in the computer "out of service" message, even a flashing button (ESP) in the center console too...
Well, I was reading a lot of info, but the most annoying thing: All that I read was a COM2000 problems... but my car hasn't COM2000!!! There are all separated modules, so now I'm a little bit lost on this problem...

I already purchase the "Steering Angle sensor" second hand, Bosch part number 0 265 005 404, and OEM part 4545 84, but I really don't know if that's the real problem, because it has also anothe part like the com2000 flat cable, and I'm afraid that's the real problem, maybe a cut cable, I really don't know and that's why I'm writting...

If anyone can help me, or tell me about it, I'll be really thankful...

Have you fitted and calibrated the new steering angle sensor? To do this you need PP2000 and a straight road...

Hi! No I didn't. I'll fit the "new" sensor tomorrow and see what happend. But the re calibration it's only for COM2000 units, isn't so?
