Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Not a bad job....take out the airbox, disconnect the battery, undo the 3 bolts holding the starter to the gearbox and remove the wires.

One of the bolts may have an earth wire bolted to it, the others will be 8mm allen bolts.

The starter is located at the front of the engine bolted to the gearbox.

+1 - it takes about 45 mins.
You need a 10mm socket, a 16mm socket, an 8mm spanner and the right size allen socket.
If it it tricky to get to the 8mm nut at the back then you can remove the fuel filter housing for better access. I never did cos I have skinny girly hands.... :cheesy:

Its not a bad job for a beginner to do - its pretty self explanatory when you get stuck in.
