Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

@omega,

you will be there all week with a drill, trust me these pug barrels is made of tough stuff,
pug as always been this way since the days of the Talbots, some of these barrels wouid even.. laugh at a scaff bar,

get a door lock out and take it to half decent lock smith, not the likes of timpson's mind they is best left to cutting keys for moped's and shed' doors,
sometimes you see locksmiths working Mobile .. on ebay worth alook,

well phoned this company up gave them the details wanted 65 pounds,25pounds to get the code from the dealer and 40 pounds for the key.they wanted me to pay by paypall but as I had left for work they took 25 pounds from my debit card and they said they working near me so I could pay cash on collection.well they left my location without letting me know so when I phoned later I had missed them.phoned them up at 5 and they cant get to me so are going to post the key and wanted me to pay the rest through paypal and would send me a link to do it,well it never came and ive phoned them a couple of times and no reply.
so will phone again tomorrow.
I can collect but they are based in chesterfield which is about a 60 mile round trip!
so if this happens to you make sure you choose someone local, not just someone who covers yourpostcode

to be fair they never said they would come out I thought that once they had got the code they would cut the key and just come round but it never got to that stage
I should have asked the question before starting ah well live and learn

well they called back today at 10 30 paid the rest on the card and they going to post it so will have to wait and see.

phoned the company up and they want me to do some running about
they say theres3 reasons why It wont fit
1 its had a lock change
2 the new key is to sharp
3 the key number from the dealer Is wrong
so
number 1 very unlikely as the key wont fit either the boot or doors so if you changed a lock you would only change one as it has central locking

number 2 he suggested i sand the key as it might be 2 sharp as the key is new and the lock is old and will have worn

number3 hes asked me to send a photo to see if its been cut right [done]

any thoughts
do i just say no i want my money back or what?
