Hello everyone, hope the Easter went well. My problem is that after changing the Brainbox, BSI and key due to an irrevocable "Antipollution Fault" on the old system,
the new BSI was programmed and the radio stopped beeping. My problem is that whenever I start moving, the mileage resets to zeros and it doesn't add up to the initial reading as shown below
Might I add that the speedometer sometimes decides not to work for a while or it will decide to move while I'm driving so I believe that the sensor is faulty.
Nice! The mileage is stored in the BSI and the dash clocks and replacing one or the other can cause the two to be added together, or the higher value being applied to the readout, but setting it self to 0 is a new one! I would suspect the BSI is faulty / not holding its memory as a starting point...
@ benczuk: I doubt if the BSI is the problem because the one that came with it has B4 as the number, another BSI with B1 number was used but it was also resetting the mileage to zeros( also, it wasn't reading the fuel gauge properly as such, it didn't show the consumption/100 km, didn't also show the estimated distance on the fuel and other functions from the wiper flip button).
Now I got a new B4(in the picture in my 1st post) and everything else is working properly except the mileage which resets to zeros whenever I start moving and reverts to the initial reading of 46,023 whenever I switch off and on prior to moving.
NB: I just noticed that the reading (46,023) is the same regardless of the Brainbox, BSI & Key I use(i.e. the new B1 or B4). But if I put back the old set of Brainbox, BSI & Key, it reads the last value(129, 941)
