PP2000 in use...

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

PP2000 in use...

Post by MixMan »

Hi, I have just got hold of a PP2000 kit and after some     getting it installed and running, I now have a question of experienced users...
When I do a 'Global test' some ECU's do not reply..
So I did a 'Test by ECU', but get the same result...
I have disconnected, rebooted the laptop and fiddled with the connections and checked all fuses in the car...

Any ideas folks, it's driving me nuts....

It's not unknown.
Which ECUs didn't reply?
Did you pick the right 406 from the menu? 406 or 406R
And did you get your build code right?

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Basically the only ones that replied were the engine - it told me I had the wrong ECU and the seats...
As far as the build code, I am assuming it is the largest four digit number at the bottom of the sticker inside the door shut...in this case making it 7766...
