Thats one to remember - D8s have one airbag connection - hence 'trigger'

Actually the plug clicked and seemed firmly connected so I really do not understand how it unplugged. But is it definitly an easy repair!
Unfortunately it failed on a bad lower ball joint and a fog light that was pointing tool high. It could be much worse.

Oh, what year is your D9? I incorrectly assumed all D9s had 2 pin airbags but all of mine have been later than 2002.....

It is a 1999 so it is the early D9's
