What is this?
Got my peugeot/citroen lexia 7 pp2000 diagnostic kit and just wondering what this cable is and what is its purpose?

it's an adaptor that's only needed for older models that don't have the usual diagnostic connector near the stering wheel.

Ah right, on older models where would you place the 2 prong plug then (just incase)

Sorry, I haven't a clue. 
(I expected to find out with my bro's old 406 1.9 TD, only to discover it had the 'normal' diagnostic socket).

Presumably it's so you can connect Peugeot Planet to the battery and use it to check the voltage

Using 5.02 on diagbox but need customer and activation code, anyone any ideas?

It is a cable to plug into an automatic gearbox to communicate with the ecu.
