I tried a new mosfet in my old duff control unit and got no joy. Went for a new ebay replacement.. Bingo.

Dug this post out as a chap at work has constant hot air on the passenger side of his 7. Any pointers on a diagnosis? Preferably with pics

It'll be his heater flaps,commonish fault on the 7's theres a few places do repairs for around £250 i think but its a dash out job and over a grand at the dealers

Or cut the side of the heater box to replace the flap...

My mum's C4 is doing a similar thing.. need to attack that at some point.

Cheers CJ, found a how-to on t'internet that involves cutting and sticking that might be the easiest and certainly cheapest option.
