window with a mind of its own

HI, this morning got in the car to go to work, tried to put the window down it wouldn't work pulled the switch to raise the window it went down pushed it down it went up, window works fine, its just seems the switch has reversed itself, not had the battery off or done anything else has this happened to anyone else.

Huge amount of info on this problem....some in the knowledge base and others to be found by using the search facility.

When mine did this it turned out to be a faulty switch in the driver's door.
