Memory seat ECU
Please help to find a Memory seat ECU that controls side mirrors as well for a 406 Executive 2.0L 16V Petrol vehicle. This is stationed below the drivers seat. Help needed fast as i am unable to drive due to same.

Re: Memory seat ECU
Hi and welcome aboard.
I guess you would have to get one from a breaker, but AFAIK, no one has replaced one, so I don't know if it's a straight swap or whether it needs configuring for the vehicle. You could try anyone selling a leather interior on eBay, as these come up frequently and the donor cars would all have had one.
What's wrong with the one you've got - it might be fixable, or a fault outside of the ecu?
If it's definitely the ecu, it can be bypassed using the switches from a non-executive with electric seat adjustment.

2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: Memory seat ECU
The IP is coming up Sri Lanka, I'm guessing ebay isn't going to be much use.
Hi Angelo, I think there a couple of 406s being broken on here just now and I think one is an executive so will have the ecu. People doing a leather conversion don't generally want the ecu as without the right mirrors and assosciated wiring, they don't work anyway. You can probably buy an ecu for little money but I suspect postage is going to be a problem.
What about bypassing it as Doggy says? You don't absolutely need the manual switches but yours will lack and earth for the signalling, which you'd have to add. See viewtopic.php?f=7&t=17504&p=172796&hili ... pg#p172796
