It's been pretty gutless ever since she had it with poor economy and the occasional anti pollution fault.
Took it to a diagnostic place today as my planet skills are limited at best, they said DPF was 76% full and it had an EGR blockage which was probably causing the failed regens.
I whipped the EGR off (when I say whipped I mean dismantled the engine bay, scraped knuckles, pulled a hamstring stretching and contorting my body to reach the bloody thing and swore A LOT!!!!) then cleaned it up with some brake cleaner.
Put it all back together and took it for a blast on the motorway keeping the revs between 2500 and 3000 revs for a good 30 minutes.
Slapped planet on it tonight and got engine fault code P1457, filter not present????? WTF!!!!
It did say the filter was down to 51% load which is good but confusing if it isn't there

Can I safely 'ass-ume' a dodgy pressure sensor is at fault and it isn't the DPF fairies gutting the offending item for me?
Can anyone with a knowledge of the 1.6 110 engine give me the first clue where the sensor/sensors might be located in the ridiculously cramped engine bay please?
Further info gleaned tonight is injector correction values are good 0.4 max on all 4 and turbo pressure about 20 mBar under reference at idle and less under load which I'm guessing is good/not too bad
Thanks as always
