What is this noise?

So this noise coming from the underside of my glove compartment when I start the car, not while its running or driving. It is more than annoying but what could it be?https://vimeo.com/137504466 Thanks

It's probably the automatic selenoid to open or close the Wind Flap, or the flap itself it's stuck in something and it's trying to open, try pushing the wind deflector button and see what happens if the sound occurs again.

Thanks, I pressed the wind deflector button and it made the noise again. Will try again to see if I can get underneath.

Its a common thing - the motor that controls the flap is a matchbox sized motor with a flimsy brown cog which can strip the teeth.

The flap may also be stuck, it is possibly to 'gently' push the flap from outside the car - its under the pollen filter which is under the left hand scuttle panel, this panel just unclips but the clips are a bit fragile.
